Commercial Real Estate Vacancy Falls To 5.6%

NWA Daily

Despite the post-pandemic emergence of remote and hybrid work, the commercial real estate market in Northwest Arkansas is looking incredibly healthy right now, showing the lowest vacancy rate since data began being tracked in 2005.

  • Record lows: Arvest Bank's recent Skyline Report revealed the commercial vacancy rate dropped to 5.6% from 5.8% in the second half of 2022, compared to 8.3% in the second part of 2021.
  • Opportunities: These historically low vacancy rates suggest opportunities for commercial developers to take on new projects in the area, particularly in the area of warehouse space.
