Stone Mill Bread Announces Fayetteville Location Will Reopen

Fayetteville, wipe your tears! Like a phoenix reborn, Stone Mill Bread will return to its flagship location on Gregg Ave after completing a remodel.

  • It's not goodbye: The local-favorite bakery and cafe closed unexpectedly in October 2022, citing long-term lease negotiations as the reason and devastating the city's sandwich lovers.
  • Meanwhile: The completion date of the remodel is currently unknown, but in the meantime, Stone Mill-Super Fans of Fayetteville can make the drive up to their other locations in Springdale and Bentonville.

The community forming at Ledger gained a new neighbor as software development company Metova relocates its headquarters from Franklin, TN, to Bentonville after a change in ownership.

Razorback Stadium Named 2022 College Football Field Of The Year

Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and Frank Broyles Field have been recognized as the 2022 College Football Stadium of the Year by the Sports Field Management Association.

  • Nice grass: Jeff Foor, the Director of Sports Turf Operations for the Razorbacks, and his team received the honor from the SFMA, a worldwide organization of over 2,500 members who manage sports fields.
  • Back to life: Recognition is due for the team's impressive expertise and hard work in revitalizing the turfgrass in time for the 2022 football season after the entire field had to be covered for a Garth Brooks concert and a Top Golf event last spring.
