Celebrate Fall During Ozarktober In Downtown Springdale

Catch some great fall vibes in Downtown Springdale all month during the 6th annual Ozarktober, a celebration of fall in the Ozarks including live music, halloween & haunted train rides, a bonfire, and brews. 

  • It’s getting lit: This Friday, Oct 14, join the community for a free bonfire event at Shiloh Square from 6-9p and enjoy fire pits for s'mores, live music, and activities for kids. 
  • All aboard: Sunday, Oct 16, the Mountains & Mimosas Train Brunch will roll down the Arkansas Missouri Railroad while passengers enjoy a multi-course meal and entertainment all while taking in the scenic views of the Ozarks.

With a highly anticipated season approaching, fans can get a sneak peak at the Razorback Men’s Basketball team during the Red-White Scrimmage this Sunday, Oct 16, at Barnhill Arena. 

  • The schedule: The remainder of the 2022-23 non-conference schedule has been released featuring some exciting matchups with Oklahoma, Baylor, and the Maui Invitational tournament.
  • The line-up: Musselman’s team roster is stacked this year with four returning players and 11 newcomers, including five transfers and six highly-sought after freshmen recruits.

Fayetteville Hosts The 2022 Cylo-Cross World Cup This Weekend

OZCX Weekend, a festival style cyclo-cross event, begins this Friday at Fayetteville’s Centennial Park featuring elite-level, internationally sanctioned races, amateur and kid friendly races, and the 2022 Walmart UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup

  • Family fun: The three day festival is filled with wacky shenanigans for the whole family; so put on a silly costume and come join the fun. All ticket sales will benefit Arkansas Children’s Northwest. 
  • Global friends: The Cyclo-cross World Cup attracts cyclists and CX enthusiasts from around the world! Spend some time in Fayetteville this weekend and form international friendships as NWA plays host to this global event!
