Biker Intends To Break Guinness World Record In Bentonville

NWA Daily

This month, Bentonville just might become the home of the new official Guinness world record for the longest ramp to dirt mountain bike jump!

  • Going farther: With help from local bike company Hellion Bikes, a sponsored downhill mountain bike racer and former professional motocross competitor from Seattle, Washington, is in Bentonville to beat the current Guinness world record of 116ft 11in set in 2000. He intends to achieve at least 120ft.
  • For the record: The jump will be happening at the Benton County fairgrounds over a few days without a live audience. But don't worry, a video of the feat will be presented at Bike Fest next weekend.

For an inside look at the process with the biker and a couple of team members, listen to an interview HERE
