New Exhibition On Display At Crystal Bridges

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art

This weekend, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will open a free exhibition featuring selections from the Alfred Stieglitz Collection entitled Seeing One Another. The exhibit will be displayed in the Modern Art Gallery from Jan 28 until the end of the year.

  • Perspectives: Seeing One Another highlights multiple insights into how works of art connect individuals, groups, and ideas across time, embodying stories that can be understood in varying ways depending on the viewer.
  • Global story: Co-owned by Crystal Bridges and Fisk University, the Alfred Stieglitz Collection includes works by African, European, and American artists exploring themes of portraiture, family, and legacy.

Chef Rafael Rios Of Yeyo's Named A James Beard Best Chef Semifinalist

Continuing to make the headlines as one of Northwest Arkansas's most well-respected chefs, Chef Rafael Rios of Yeyo's has been announced as a James Beard Awards semifinalist in the Best Chef: South category.

  • Prestige: The James Beard Foundation has been calling attention to extraordinary people behind America's food culture for over 30 years. Winners will be celebrated at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards Ceremony on June 5 at the Lyric Opera in Chicago. We're cheering on Chef Rafael as he represents NWA!
  • Andale: Yeyo's El Alma de Mexico began in 2012 out of a bright yellow food truck and has since grown into a thriving, multi-location establishment, including the Restaurant in Bentonville, the Mezcaleria y Taqueria in Downtown Rogers, the Yellow Foodtruck at the Bentonville Square, and the Blue Foodtruck at Natural State Beer Co.
