Art Walk Becomes Art 'Dance' In Downtown Rogers Tonight

The Art on the Bricks Art Walk in downtown Rogers returns tonight and the theme is “Perpetual Motion,” named after an aerial dance company who will be performing tonight.

  • Some events: Downtown Rogers will be active with opportunities for dance classes and lessons from barre to hip hop to freestyle. The event will also host live art talks and interactive opportunities for the community at local venues.
  • Shows: As a part of a national tour, Perpetual Motion Dance will perform an original show called Y20 at 6p and 7p at Turntable Plaza in the Railyard Park. Stop by before or after a show to see featured artists in Ozark Beer Company, Brick & Mortar, and the ANA Gallery.

Global Business Acquires Fayetteville Tech Startup

A Fayetteville tech startup was recently acquired by a global business based in the United Kingdom to bring human connection to a digital world. 

  • More personal: The Fayetteville startup, Gratavid, is a video platform that helps organizations stay connected to their donors through personalized videos. The platform recently merged with Graduway + Gravyty, which have operations in the U.S., Canada, and Israel. 
  • Trifecta: With Gravidad joining Graduway + Gravyty, it creates an ecosystem of products that automate the way communication flows within non-profits and education organizations. The trio now work with 2,500+ schools, colleges, non-profits, and healthcare organizations globally.

Razorback Baseball Team Advances To The Super Regionals

The Diamond Hogs are in the NCAA postseason Super Regional round after a 7-3 win over Oklahoma State on Monday.

  • Baseball: This weekend, the Super Regional games will be in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with the Hogs playing the University of North Carolina Tar Heels in a best-of-three. The first two games will be Saturday at 10a and Sunday at 12p, and the winner will advance to the College World Series in Omaha. 
  • Weekend Recap: If you didn't have a chance to watch all 12+ hours of Arkansas baseball last weekend, here is a quick recap: The Stillwater Regional set NCAA records for most runs (148) and most home runs (41) at a postseason site. Arkansas contributed to 48 of those runs and a number of HRs including a grand slam.
