The Show Goes On

Fixer to Fabulous

Coming through an IG announcement yesterday, Bentonville natives Jenny and Dave Marrs are returning to HGTV for the 3rd season of their show, Fixer to Fabulous.

  • Work in progress: Season 3 is still being filmed, but it's already full of renovations that will have you planning your own home makeover.
  • A little extra: In addition to their new season, Fixer to Fabulous will be presenting a spin-off series called Welcome Inn. This new series follows the couple as they make an 1880s home into a "functioning vacation rental."

Food Loops

Local NWA business, Food Loops, cleans your plate for you. Working to "close the loop on food" Food Loops is the food-waste solution for Northwest Arkansas.

  • How it works: You send Food Loops an invite to your next event, and they do all the dirty work for you. They reduce the amount of food that enters the landfill and produce sustainable fertilizers for local growers.
  • Big milestone: Food Loops partnered with Tyson Foods in 2018. Since then, they have converted over 35 tons of food waste into soil for local markets. This is part of Tyson's zero-waste future efforts.

A New Way to Work

NWA Daily

A leading residential real estate company is bringing its operational expertise to NWA. The company, called Commons, will be constructing a new remote work hub in Bentonville.

  • Sought after: As one of the best cities in the country to live in and one that is growing rapidly, Commons chose Bentonville earlier in the year as 1 of 5 cities to lay the groundwork for its remote work hub.
  • A new home: These projects will allow people to live remote while maintaining their current jobs. These multifamily units are reshaping the traditional view of work/life balance.
