  • Art-making: Attend a mosaic workshop in Rogers this evening and create a masterpiece. 
  • Sip and steer: Hang out and take a drive with new friends and old friends at a cars and coffee event in Rogers. 
  • Bubbles: Get down at a Disco Bubble Dance in Eureka Springs. 
  • Are you ready? The Monster Truck Insanity Tour is coming to Springdale tomorrow. 
  • Rock on: Get your tickets for Blue Oyster Cult’s show at JJ’s Live tomorrow. 
  • Let the festivities begin: Bentonville’s First Friday block party is happening today! 
  • Pet hike: Bring your furry friends and join a Best Friends group hike at Mount Kessler on Saturday. 
  • Movie night: The Arkansas Cinema Society is screening To the Stars tonight at Thaden School in Bentonville.
  • Poetry & song: SoNA’s latest free concert in its Beyond series is tonight at the Fayetteville Public Library. 
  • Theatre: Sign up for 1 of 2 improv acting classes at the Community Creative Center that begin next week!

Walmart Announces Annual Shareholder Meeting Date

Walmart recently announced that its annual meeting and what has become a traditional celebration for its associates and shareholders will take place at the beginning of June.

  • Together again: The Annual Shareholder’s Meeting will be on Wednesday, June 1 and it will be held in a virtual-only format, which the public will be able to access and listen in as well. The date of record for shareholders to vote at the virtual meeting is next Friday, April 8.
  • Recognizing the contributors: A smaller in-person celebration will be held at the Bud Walton Arena on June 3 to recognize Walmart Associates and Shareholders from around the world. The celebration will also be webcast.

Downtown Rogers Tells Restaurant Backstories

The Chamber of Commerce in Rogers is producing a series of articles telling tales of the people behind the businesses in Downtown Rogers. The latest article features a taste of Italy on the Railyard Loop. 

  • The journey: The story begins as a romance set in a town outside of Rome, Italy that has resulted in a restaurant in Rogers, Arkansas. The restaurant is called Pasta Roma and it is presented by Outpost Eats
  • A new home: Pasta Roma features Italian dishes from one of the owner’s homes and childhood in Italy. Their mission is to “show Arkansas what real, authentic Italian food tastes like.” The food is available for catering and events, sit-down dining, and to-go meals.

Topgolf Coming To Razorback Stadium

Get ready to tee it up, Northwest Arkansas, because a Topgolf tour is making a stop at the Donald W. Reynolds Razorbacks Stadium

  • Someone’s dream: If you’ve ever had a fantasy of being able to hit golf balls into the Razorback Stadium, your time is coming. May 5-8 to be exact. The experience will be a part of the Topgolf Live Stadium Tour
  • Tee off: Topgolf Live is bringing immersive golf experiences to some of the country’s most iconic venues. Players in Fayetteville will be able to hit golf balls at targets on the Razorback field and have their scores instantly recorded for an interactive, in-stadium game. Tickets go on sale to the public on April 2.
