Walmart is ready to help you with your outfit of the day more than ever through its new virtual try-on apparel Be Your Own Model Experience

  • Tech: Earlier this year, Walmart implemented Zeekit’s virtual try-on technology with the “Choose My Model” experience. Now, customers can use their own photo and brings the in-store fitting room experience right to their phone. 
  • Function: The new feature works with more than 270,000 clothing items and is easy to use. Customers simply take a picture of themselves through the Walmart iOS app and use it every time they use the virtual try-on experience.

Electric Vehicle Event Coming To NWA

With Arkansas’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure Deployment Plan underway, Electric Vehicles are in the near future for Northwest Arkansas. 

  • The electric way: An event in Rogers called Drive Electric NWA will educate the public all about it on September 24, focusing on the growing importance of electric cars, trucks, and e-bikes, as well as allow attendees to ask about issues, such as charging infrastructure or range anxiety. 
  • Giveaway: Drive Electric NWA will be at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade from 12-5p, and attendees will be eligible to enter a drawing to win a Vvolt Alpha e-bike provided by Moosejaw

43.5 Acres In Fayetteville To Become High-End RV Park

Arkansas Razorback and outdoor recreation fans are about to have a space in Fayetteville just for them. 

  • The land: Investors recently purchased 43.5 acres two miles west of the University of Arkansas campus to develop a high-end RV resort. The land is on the north side of Kessler Mountain Regional Park, less than a mile from Centennial Park
  • The park: The development name is Pigskin Park, and developers hope to break ground by the first quarter of 2023 to have it completed by the late summer of 2023. The park pads will have private parking stalls and entertainment areas and be fully equipped with electrical, water, and sewer hookups. The gated park will have Razorback gameday entertainment and shuttle service, a swimming pool, basketball and pickleball courts, and more.
