Startup Raises $25M, Bringing It To $100M In 2 Years

A Fayetteville-based supply chain startup has raised $25 million in series B capital to support its growth in Northwest Arkansas. 

  • To hire: The startup, SupplyPike, will use the money to add high-tech workers to its company. There are currently almost 125 employees in Fayetteville, and SupplyPike is looking to add more than 60 employees to the area. 
  • Support system: SupplyPike builds automated software that detects irregularities in the supply chain and helps clients fix issues and get any lost money back. The company has gone from nothing to being valued at $100 million in two years.

UAMS Opens Simulation Center In NWA For Medical Students

There’s a new simulation center on the Fayetteville campus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, enabling state-of-the-art training for students. 

  • Resources for success: All UAMS students in Northwest Arkansas will now be able to use the 3,400 sq. ft simulation center and experience real-world scenarios to aid them in their medical training with features such as high-fidelity manikins to simulate medical emergencies in a full range of ages.
  • Steps of healing: Quality care starts with quality education, and the center offers just that. The simulation center is projected to produce the best and the brightest healthcare professionals in NWA who will provide the highest quality of care for patients in our region.
