Overall, Shaeffer says parents are feeling safer and more confident in the schools as Covid numbers have stayed relatively constant
  • Springdale schools kicked off the year Monday, while students in the Bentonville SD are starting in-person classes on Wednesday. More information about different approaches schools are taking can be found HERE

Kenny Guiton - Welcome to the Razorback Family (almost)

Sources indicate Kenny Guiton will likely join Sam Pittman's coaching staff as Justin Stepp leaves for South Carolina.

  • Hailing from Colorado State, the former Ohio State quarterback began his career as wide receivers coach in his hometown of Houston. He helped lead the Cougars to a 13-1 record in 2015 and a 9-4 record in 2016. Following Houston he took his talents to Louisiana Tech (2019).
  • In Guiton's glory days, he was Ohio State's team captain from 2012-2013. And yes, he beat us in the Sugar Bowl 2011 that we'd all like to forget...

ICYMI - Arkansas linebacker Grant Morgan was a top three finalist for the Burlsworth Trophy. Kudos to you sir, we look forward to next year!

NWA Businesses Fail ABC COVID-19 Regulations

Several NWA bars and restaurants have failed to enforce the state's COVID-19 regulations.

  • The Arkansas Beverage Control conducted Covid compliance checks across the state between Monday, Dec. 28, and Jan. 3. The ABC found many of the local bars and restaurants were not enforcing social distancing or were serving drinks past the 11 p.m. cutoff. The full list of violators can be found HERE.
