Downtown Bentonville Inc.

Bentonville’s First Friday is back today and the theme is Pet-a-palooza. So bring your dogs, cats, birds, and pets of all types to be celebrated as a part of Bentonville’s monthly festival.

  • Party pups: The community event is free and welcomes all community members and visitors. For the pets, there will be a bring-your-own-pet Beer Garden, a pet playground, pet portraits, a dog obstacle course and lure track, and so much more!
  • Animals on the square: The festivities will go from 11-9p on the Bentonville Square, and live music will be on the main stage starting at 5p. There will be the usual food trucks and local vendors as well as a couple of mini petting zoos, pony rides, and more. If nothing else, go watch people participate in goat yoga!

NWA Council Encourages Residents To Vote

NWA Daily

As residents of Northwest Arkansas, we are a part of what it is and what it becomes, and we can actively shape that now by making our voices heard in the May primaries.

  • Making a community: The Northwest Arkansas Council said it best: “Participating in the democratic process is perhaps the most important thing we can do to make the region, state, and country more inclusive and equitable.” The council has also provided a guide that will walk you through the process of voting and how to stay informed.
  • Set up: Early voting for the primary elections starts Monday, May 9. Before then, you can go here to make sure your voter registration is in good standing considering the recent census changes.
