Plomo Quesadilla Bar Opens Second Fayetteville Location And Sets Eyes On Dallas

The hottest "dang quesadilla" bar on Dickson St. opened its second location in Fayetteville on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and has plans to open a Dallas location next year.  

  • Night and day: Plomo Quesadilla Bar has gained popularity for its late night hours on Dickson St. and its eccentric line up of quesadillas that will now be available during daylight hours at the MLK Blvd. location weekdays 11a-10p and until midnight on weekends. 
  • Let’s taco bout it: Plomo Quesadillas on MLK Blvd. has replaced Con Quesos, another concept by founder Omar Kasim. Taco fans don’t worry, there is still a Con Quesos location in Downtown Springdale as well as options for catering.

Rogers Plans $10m Update To Northwest Park

City of Rogers

The Rogers City Council voted to spend $10m to renovate Northwest Park, the city’s oldest sports park originally built in the 1970’s.

  • Back on track: The park renovation was one of three focuses on the 2018 Bond Issue, but progress was halted due to the pandemic. 
  • Glow up: Renovation plans include updating the park’s seven grass baseball and softball fields to eight turf fields and will also add batting cages, trails, concessions, and a playground to the park.
