NASA Selects Bentonville Company To Aid Space Exploration Mission

Canoo

NASA has partnered with a Bentonville company to help make the first human lunar landing in more than 50 years.

  • To the moon: Nasa selected Canoo, a local high-tech advanced mobility company, through a competitive process to provide Crew Transportation Vehicles (CTVs) for crewed Artemis lunar exploration. Canoo will manufacture custom all-electric vehicles in the heartland and deliver them to NASA by June 2023.
  • Fit for space: The CTVs will comfortably, safely, and functionally carry fully suited astronauts and flight support staff with their equipment to the launch site. The vehicles will be based on Canoo’s current LV model and adjusted to perfectly meet the needs of a space mission.
