Local Make-A-Wish Campaign Receives Generous Match

Make-A-Wish Mid-South

The Willard & Pat Walker Charitable Foundation has entered a ground-breaking partnership with Make-A-Wish Mid-South, agreeing to match donations dollar for dollar up to $500,000 over the next two years for the Wishes are Waiting campaign.

  • End the wait: Under the leadership of Danyelle Musselman, the Wishes Are Waiting campaign launched in 2022 with the ambitious goal of raising $1m beyond the annual budget over three years to address the gap between kids waiting for wishes and the funds needed to grant those wishes.
  • Wishes in action: Speaking of kids being encouraged to dream big and experience the life-changing impacts of Make-A-Wish, a Bella Vista nine-year-old departed from XNA yesterday for a trip to Disney World after receiving a water cannon salute from the XNA fire department.
