NWA Businesses Secure 10th Year On Fortune 500 List

NWA Daily

Two Northwest Arkansas businesses have recently earned their places on the Fortune 500 list for the 10th consecutive year.

  • J.B. Hunt: J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. ranked #311 on the 2022 list, moving up four spots from its position last year. The president and chief executive officer at J.B. Hunt said the ranking is a "testament to the culture of innovation and excellence we strive for at J.B. Hunt."
  • Walmart: This year, Walmart extended its streak at the #1 spot on the list after successfully navigating a challenging year in 2021. With its expanded e-commerce offerings, curbside pick-up, in-home delivery services, and driverless vehicle and drone testing, it's not hard to see why Walmart is still at the top.
