NWA Women's Expo Kicks Off This Weekend At Benton County Fairgrounds

The 13th Annual 40/29 & Arkansas CW NWA Women's Expo will take place this weekend at the Benton County Fairgrounds for two days filled with food, fashion, and fun. The expo will be open Saturday, Apr 29, from 10a-5p and Sunday, Apr 30, from 11a-4p.

  • Shopping spree: Over 170 businesses will have booths present with merchandise on display where you can explore the latest fashion trends, jewelry, home decor, and gourmet treats.
  • Like mother like daughter: Two stages will host various entertainment and events like fashion shows, live music, cooking demos, meet-and-greets with celebrity guests, and tons of opportunities to win raffles and prizes like the 101.9 Mother Daughter Look-A-Like Contest

Kids Obstacle Course Race Coming To J.B. Hunt Park

Young Lions OCR

Let the kids loose to run and ninja warrior-climb their way through the Young Lions Obstacle Course NWA 2023 on Saturday, May 6, from 9a-1p at JB Hunt Park in Springdale.

  • Challenge accepted: The 1-mi obstacle course will feature ten ninja warrior-style obstacles for kids to complete. Each participant will receive a Young Lions medal and sticker and is welcome to run the course as many times as their legs can carry them!
  • Family fun: Parents are welcome to go through the course with their kids to take pictures and assist as needed, and there will be Kona Ice, inflatables, face paint, balloon art, a food truck, and more for the entire family to enjoy the day together.
