Walmart has a new online shopping portal for original equipment manufactured (OEM) auto parts from RevolutionParts

  • Online presence: RevolutionParts accelerates sales of OEM parts for every automotive brand. As part of their partnership, Walmart is giving the company landing pages on the Walmart online marketplace so OEM products will be even easier to find. 
  • A good pairing: The OEM parts e-commerce industry grew 30% last year and is one of the fastest growing categories online. Along with Walmart’s online sales growth of 100% over the past 2 years, the partnership seems to be a good match.

Excelling Exports

Six Arkansas companies were recognized for Excellence in Global Trade this year, and Springdale-based Chandler Equipment Inc. was one of them. 

  • Innovative: The award is presented by the Arkansas District Export Council (ArDEC) every year. This year ArDEC was looking for companies who had not only excelled in exporting, but developed strategies for success during and despite the pandemic. 
  • Impact: Chandler Equipment Inc. manufactures and delivers high quality equipment for trucks, trailers, and the like. The company’s impact during the pandemic was felt by a wide array of industries with customers in food, oil and gas, transportation, and agriculture.

Season Of Sound

The Ozark Symphony is coming to the Walton Arts Center for another season, and this year the full orchestra will be together to perform.

  • Fresh and powerful: In an effort to guide people on a journey of reflection, the first show this season will focus on the work of Mozart and Beethoven. The musicians are excited to kick-off this Friday, Nov. 5.
  • Tradition: The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas has 5 main stage concerts planned for the season, including the annual Christmas shows “A Very SoNA Christmas” and “The Snowman: A Family Concert."

Fayetteville's Washington Regional Medical Center recently received 3 awards for heart attack care, revealing medical success in Northwest Arkansas. 

  • Successes: The awards are Mission: Lifeline awards. Washington Regional received the Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award for “quick treatment through emergency procedures,” the Silver Award for non-STEMI heart attack patients, and the Regional Achievement Award, which recognizes the hospital’s collaborative and supportive efforts toward the creation of high quality systems of care.
  • Representing quality: Washington Regional provides optimal care for the most severe types of heart attacks. Receiving these awards from the American Heart Association puts it in the category of hospitals that “see fewer readmissions and lower mortality rates.”
