The USA BMX Hardesty National Stadium and National Headquarters, which was a Vision Tulsa project, won four awards last week.

  • Big night: The win came at the ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) Oklahoma Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet held in Tulsa.
  • A space for everyone: They’ve hosted BMX competitive events and activities for Tulsa Parks day camp field trip last summer.

Tulsa’s Veterans Day Parade Planning On Massive Turnout

Over 3,000 people are expected to attend Tulsa’s Veterans Day Parade this year.

  • Local tradition: The theme of the day is “Honoring Veteran Advocates” at 3rd and Boston at 11am on Friday, November 11th. 
  • Tribute to Normandy: The event will feature more 350 vehicles and floats and even a fly over of a WWII C-47 cargo plane.

Free Pet Wellness Fair At McClure Park

The Oklahoma Alliance for Animals will be offering free vaccines for our furry friends in north Tulsa on Saturday at McClure Park from 10a.m. to 2p.m.

  • Necessary care: The free pet wellness fair offering DHPP vaccines, feline FVRCP vaccines, deworming treatments and pet food on a first come first serve basis. 
  • Solving a problem: OAA reports that the Tulsa area has been dealing with a wide spread distemper issue.

Canoo has announced that they will be building an electric vehicle manufacturing facility in the MidAmerica Industrial Park. 

  • Coming soon: Construction will begin late 2022 with a goal of manufacturing batteries by 2023. 
  • Economic gains: The development will bring more than 2,000 jobs to the area.
