Major projects are to be expected as a part of the region's 2021-2024 Transportation Improvement program.

The Pea Ridge Christmas tree farm, Wonderland Christmas Trees, will close after Dec. 6.

Producer Jlin creates soundtrack for the Nick Cave: Until exhibit at The Momentary in Bentonville.

One-time Bonus Paid to Fayetteville Teachers and Administrators

Fayetteville public school teachers and administrators approved for a one time bonus of $750.

  • Following a "special meeting and workshop conducted by the Board of Directors of Fayetteville Public Schools" on Wednesday, "the Board voted unanimously to approve one-time bonuses for staff members who are currently working for Fayetteville Public Schools as of Dec. 2." - 5News

XNA Investing in Passenger Safety

XNA board members considering installing safety and air quality equipment throughout the terminal for passenger and employee safety

  • To increase passenger safety and mitigate the spread of COVID-19, XNA board members consider $860,000 safety investment. This investment is in hopes to increase customer traffic and reduce sick leave from its employees.
  • "Between January and October, enplanements, or passengers flying out, have decreased by 60.4% to 304,394, from 768,650 over the same period in 2019. In October, enplanements declined by 63.7% to 31,367, from 86,554." - 5 News
