Explore Beautiful And Historic Architecture During The Fayetteville Tour Of Homes

If you've ever wanted to step inside the beautiful homes in Fayetteville's historic district, you'll have the chance to during the 17th annual Fayetteville Tour of Homes on May 6.

  • Old & new: During the self-guided tour, eight featured homes will open their doors, from historic homes built as early as 1896 to innovative modern designs constructed in recent years. The tour includes five houses, one apartment building, and two landmark buildings at the Mount Sequoyah Center.
  • Back to school: All proceeds from the event will support Washington Elementary, Fayetteville's oldest public school, built in 1886.

Business Leaders Gather In Rogers For Third Annual Unity Conference

Business leaders, educators, students, and area residents will gather this week for the third annual Unity Conference, engaging in conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion and opening doors to career opportunities for upcoming graduates from underrepresented communities. 

  • On the mic: Attendees of the event will hear from Unity Conference founder John Gaiters, speakers like Netflix Chief Talent Officer Sergio Ezama and former sports broadcaster Danyelle Musselman, along with panelists from major brands like Walmart, Netflix, P&G, Kellogg’s, and The Ad Council.
  • Forging connections: The organization will also host college students from historically black colleges and universities in Central Arkansas as a way to connect brands with diverse talent.

Celebrate Cinco De Mayo At The Grand Opening Of Carmelitas Modern Mexican Cuisine

Join the Cinco de Mayo festivities during Carmelitas' Grand Opening on May 5 at their new location in Springdale. Explore their new delicious modern Mexican cuisine menu while enjoying their relaxed dining atmosphere, dog-friendly patio, and live music!

  • Cali-flavors: Founded by Jeremy and Karla Putts, Carmelitas began as a catering company and quickly gained attention for its distinctive flavors inspired by San Diego roots, putting a modern spin on traditional Mexican and Californian street food classics. The restaurant will be open this week, Monday-Friday from 11a-2p, to serve their popular street food menu and from 5p-9p with a selection of elevated modern Mexican food. 
  • Fiesta: The Grand Opening celebration will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10a before lunch. The party will start at 6p when the Rock en Espanol band Voltaje takes the stage.

Front Porch Sessions At Fayetteville Co-Op

Enjoy this awesome porch weather with the return of Front Porch Sessions at the Ozark Natural Foods Co-Op in Fayetteville, with live music and more on May 5 from 6-9p.

  • Groovy: Bring your dancing shoes because you won't be able to stay in your seat while jazz, funk, and rock fusion band Monk is King gets their groove on starting at 7p.
  • Subie: Great refreshments will be available as the Co-Op hosts Onyx and Fossil Cove for a Taproom takeover, and Adventure Subaru will be handing out swag bags.

Celebrate The Many Cultures Of NWA During Bentonville Together

Explore and express the myriad of cultures in Northwest Arkansas during Bentonville Together: A Celebration of Our Multicultural Community this Saturday, Apr 29, from 4-9p, at Orchards Park.

  • Front and center: The family-friendly event will showcase various multicultural performances on the mainstage, starting at 2p with the Home Sweet Home Family Show, followed by ten multicultural entertainment acts, each celebrating their unique heritage.
  • One big family: Besides the mainstage, several organizations will offer different cultural activities for the community to experience around Orchards Park, providing Bentonville residents an opportunity to celebrate their respective cultures and introduce them to other local families.
