Rakeem Boyd opts out of rest of 2020 season

Rakeem Boyd, the three year running back for the Arkansas Razorback Football team, wearing the iconic number 5, has opted out of the rest of the 2020 season and declared his intentions to participate in the NFL draft.

  • Boyd had 82 rushing attempts this season for a total of 309 yards. He has over 2,000 career rushing yards as a running back for the Razorbacks. He will be missed.

OZ Art, a local cultural organization, recently deployed 12 murals across Arkansas in a campaign called ARkanvas.

Attorney related with illegal adoption scheme sentenced to prison

Paul Peterson, local Springdale attorney, was sentenced to prison for more than 6 years for admitting to running an illegal adoption scheme in Arkansas.

  • He was arrested in 2019 after word broke about his affiliation with an illegal adoption scheme in Springdale and two other states. In June, 2020 Peterson pleated guilty. - 4029 NEWS
  • It is speculated that Peterson worked to bring women from the Marshall Islands to the United States to have kids and then would give the children up for adoption.
