Discover The Art Of Wine At Walton Art Center

Maybe a trip to Napa isn't in the books right now, but the next best thing is coming to Fayetteville during Uncorked!, the annual Art of Wine fundraiser by Walton Arts Center. Featuring hundreds of wines to sample and small bites from local restaurants, this extravagant event is set for Friday, Jul 21, from 8-11p.

  • The reserve: General admission tickets start at $95. Reserve Room Tasting tickets are also available now for $200 and include a dedicated private entrance and access to the Reserve Room with premier selections of wines and additional restaurant options.
  • Cheers to that: Proceeds from the Art of Wine Festival support the nonprofit work of Walton Arts Center, which serves an average of 35,000 school children and teachers annually through arts education and outreach programs.

Northwest Arkansas Sales Tax Revenue Jumps 14% In April

Northwest Arkansas saw a 14.2% increase in sales tax revenue for April 2023 compared to April 2022, for a combined revenue of $8.394m. Year-to-date totals have climbed to $35.948m, up 12% from the same period last year.

  • April showers: Rogers led the pack for April gains, posting a 16.68% gain in sales tax revenue at nearly $2.122m. Fayetteville followed close behind, bringing in $2.413m, up 15.66%.
  • Bigger picture: When it comes to year-to-date totals, Bentonville has had a huge start to 2023, showing a 19.84% increase compared to the same months last year. Springdale was the only city to miss double-digit gains when it came to April but was second for year-to-date growth, up 10.56%
