May is National Bike Month and with it comes events, challenges, commutes, and races in Northwest Arkansas.
- Tradition: Northwest Arkansas and its cycling advocate organizations have recognized National Bike Month for several years now. Home to the first ever UCI Bike City in the US, celebrating this month comes natural.
- Involvement: You, friends, and co-workers can join the Bike Month Challenge running all month. The most known event is the Square 2 Square this Saturday, an adult learn to ride clinic in Bentonville, and then the Joe Martin Stage Race, the oldest continually held stage race in the U.S., will take place in Fayetteville May 19-22.
