The Momentary Shares It's 2022 Spring Guide

In preparation for spring, The Momentary released its Spring Guide showcasing new exhibitions, live music, concerts, and performances. 

  • Spring cleaning: All the new in-store doesn't mean the old has to go. In Some Form or Fashion will have its last day at the Momentary on March 27. The galleries will largely be empty from March 29 to early May due to the new line-up. 
  • Outdoors: Live music from a Scottish rock composer to the Fresh Grass Festival is scheduled for this spring, and the outdoor Rode Bar is awaiting your patronage along with High South on a Roll food truck right next to the Momentary green.

Organization Putting On Arkansas Parks Painting Project

The Heart of American Artists Association is kicking off its latest project ‘Painting the Arkansas Parks’ on March 24-26 at Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area. 

  • Plein air: During the 3-day event, artists will scatter across the state park with their supplies and paint interpretations of the outdoor environment’s natural beauty. On Saturday, March 26, the association will host an exhibit and sale of the artists’ best pieces they created during the event.
  • Natural beauty: The Painting the Arkansas Parks project is a 2-year project that will include a series of outdoor painting events to honor the state parks of Arkansas. Each event will take place in a major geographical region in Arkansas.

Hail Fellow Well Met To Host Wine Dinner

Hail Fellow Well Met in Johnson is hosting its first Wine Dinner on March 18 and sounds like the ideal date night.

  • Dinner and wine: Chef Tyler Rogers will be preparing this first of many friendly dinners to come at Hail Fellow Well Met in Johnson. The event will be a 6-course meal with 6 accompanying Lunaria Biodynamic Wines.
  • Breaking bread: There is a cap of 26 guests for the dinner, and tickets are $150 per person. Flexible seating arrangements are available to accommodate groups of up to 4, and gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian alternatives can be accommodated as well.

112 Drive-In Announces Season Opening Date

What became the team building event of 2020 and favorite socially distant pastime is returning for the 2022 season.

  • Outdoor movies: This year, the Fayetteville 112 Drive-In season will begin on April 8. As of now, the first movies showing will be License 2 Quill (Sonic the Hedgehog 2) and The Lost City. Though attractions are always subject to change until the Monday before the showing weekend. 
  • How it works: The Drive-In traditionally shown 2 movies a day starting with an early evening family friendly show followed by something for the adults at late night. Admission prices are $10-$5 and children under 5 are free to attend.

Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week Scheduled For Thurs-Sat


Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week is this week in Bentonville and scheduled to begin Thursday evening.

  • Next on the runway: NWA Fashion Week is put on by INTERFORM and will take place at The Momentary in Bentonville Thurs.- Sat. The runway will feature both local and national designers, including participants of INTERFORM’s Marshallese and Congolese sewing classes.
  • Culture in fashion: A big part of INTERFORM’s mission with Fashion Week is to celebrate Northwest Arkansas’s growing arts culture and support the incredible influence of local businesses.
