Performance Art Symposium At The Momentary

Over the weekend there will be a Performance Art Symposium by INVERSE at The Momentary.

  • Experience: INVERSE is an artist run, community supported platform that fosters conversation and connection via performance art. The Symposium this weekend will feature 8 national and international artists who will lead audiences through explorative and expressive solo and group performances inspired by current issues.

  • At home: You could even take a it a step further and try a new recipe at home for a fun activity and get your ingredients at a local, authentic market. NWA has authentic Hispanic, Asian, and Indian markets where you can find everything you'd need for a home cooked meal.

Rogers Lion Club To Retire After 75yrs

After 75 years, the Rogers chapter of Lions Club International will cease operations at the end of 2021. 

  • Service: The Rogers Lion Club was the 2nd ever civic club to be chartered by the city. It has provided vision and hearing services to Rogers since its inception in 1946, and throughout the years has worked closely with schools and non-profits to assist in the community. 
  • To remember: Due to a decline in membership, the club will retire but will live on in preserved history and memories. 7 decades worth of club memorabilia will be added to the Rogers Historical Museum for people to see for generations, so be on the look out for that.
