Yesterday, Asa Hutchinson provided his weekly update on Covid-19 to the state of Arkansas

  • "Out of the cases announced Tuesday, 1,421 are confirmed cases and 701 are considered probable. Out of the 18 deaths announced Tuesday, 17 are among confirmed cases and one was among a probable case." - KNWA
  • "There have been 2,405 deaths in Arkansas due to COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. As of Tuesday afternoon, there are 988 people hospitalized in Arkansas due to the virus, which is an increase of 14 from Monday. The number of people currently on ventilators in Arkansas due to the virus decreased by four Tuesday to 160." - KNWA

112 Drive-in Movie Theater

The 112 Drive-in has extended its season into the Fall/Winter starting this week (Thursday-Saturday) and in the month of December, Fridays and Saturday evenings.

  • "The theatre this weekend (Nov. 26-28) will show The Croods The New Age at 7 p.m., followed by The War with Grandpa around 8:45 p.m. Admission to the shows are $10 for adults, and $5 for kids 6-12. Kids 5 and under get in free." - FayettevilleFlyer

Hog Ball is Back

After an abnormal off season, Arkansas Basketball is scheduled to return tonight to Bud Walton Arena where they will face Mississippi Valley State.

Trash and Recycling for Thanksgiving Week (Fayetteville)

The collection schedule for both commercial container and residential trash, recycling, and yard waste will be delayed one day by the Thanksgiving holiday with Thursday routes running on Friday, Nov. 27. All early-week routes will run as normal." - FayettevilleFlyer

Early Voting for Runoff Elections Begins

Early voting for local runoff elections began yesterday (Tuesday) for a few seats in Benton and Washington County positions

  • In order for a to win, they must have have 50% or more of the votes to win. Runoffs for Washington County include the City Council seats for Ward 1 & 4. Benton County has City Council runoffs in Wards 1, 3, and 4.

Springdale Schools go Remote

Following the thanksgiving break, students in Springdale School District will be learning and taking their classes remote

  • "The Springdale School District will move to remote learning for students starting on Monday, Nov. 30 through Friday, Dec. 4, according to Springdale Public Schools Superintendent Jared Cleveland.
    Cleveland says the time will be used to reset required quarantines of staff members.
    District employees will still report to work the week of Nov. 30 through Dec. 4th." - 5 NEWS
