It's that time of the week again! Here are some events this weekend you might enjoy:

  • Sweet seven: Black Apple is turning seven, and they are celebrating with their 2nd annual birthday bash on July 31.
  • Brain freeze: You could win a year's worth of ice cream and a brain freeze competing in Freeze Fest at the Bentonville Farmer's Market .
  • Daredevils: See the Ozark Mountain Daredevils and The Creek Rocks at another edition of the Forest Concert Series on Saturday.
  • Two for one: The 112 Drive-In will be showing two movies, including ELVIS, for the price of one this weekend,
  • Art, bikes, and fun: With four different routes, anyone can enjoy Saturday's Tour de Frida and the pop up market, food and drinks, and art installments to go along with it.
  • Amped up: Chris Stapleton is in town for a show tonight at the Walmart AMP. Tickets are sold out, but a few are available on secondary.
  • Well read: Check out the Bentonville Public Library this weekend for its back to school sale with over 40,000 books available.

Calling All Food and Farm Entrepreneurs

Cureate and FORGE, Inc. are seeking up-and-coming food and beverage entrepreneurs to participate in a free 10-week cohort intended to empower small businesses for success in a highly competitive food industry.

  • Cureate courses: There are three cohorts planned for the 2022-2023 school year, the first of which will begin on September 27 with a focus on consumer packaged goods, beverages, and baked goods. 
  • The great Cureate bake-off: At the end of each cohort, the 10 businesses selected will participate in a pitch showcase for a chance to win $5,000.

Big Time Rush Back On Tour At Walmart AMP

Walmart AMP

They may have started as a Nickelodeon boy band, but Big Time Rush has since come of age with #1 singles and chart topping songs. Currently on an international tour, they make a stop Tuesday at the Walmart AMP.

  • Bit of history: In 2013, the band split up to go their separate ways. But in 2020, when the world was keeping its distance, the four members - Carlos, Kendall, James and Logan - reunited to their fans’ delight.

Whataburger Coming To Siloam Springs

Cruising Kitchens - Whataburger

Earlier this week, Whataburger announced plans to open a new store in Siloam Springs. 

  • Whataneighbor: The community is excited to welcome Whataburger which has a great reputation for community partnerships through their Feeding Student Success Program
  • Whatajob: Referring to employees as “family members”, the company has plans to hire more than 100 people in the Siloam Springs area.
