The Home Stretch

NWA Daily

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT) is planning to widen a 12-mile stretch of Hwy 112. The project is still in its early planning stages, and ArDOT is inviting suggestions from the public.

  • Three parts: The project is split into three segments, modifying parts of the highway in Tontitown, Cave Springs, and Bentonville. The original plans for the $87.9mm project are currently being revised and provide alternative plans for each segment of the project.
  • Listening up: ArDOT is hosting an online meeting for the public to provide their thoughts on the proposed plans. Its website will also accept comments through Friday, Aug 6, and will have three live Q&A sessions for each segment of the Hwy 112 project.
