If you aren't traveling anywhere for Spring Break this week, the Natural State offers families plenty of budget-friendly activities to enjoy close to home. Get your kids away from the screens and out into the great outdoors with these fun ideas.

  • Wild & Free: Spend a day birdwatching or exploring Arkansas' 1800+ miles of public hiking trails. You can also hop on a bike and explore local bike trails or paths.
  • Educational & Entertaining: Visit one of the many free or paid museums, visit a historic theater, or take to the stars on a camping adventure.

Healthy, fast-casual restaurant, CRISP & GREEN, is set to open its first Arkansas location in Bentonville this April. Founded in 2016, The restaurant serves up nutritious and delicious bowls, salads, smoothies, and more, made with sustainably and consciously sourced ingredients.

  • Committed to community: In addition to great food, the restaurant partners with local fitness experts to provide complimentary classes and looks forward to becoming an integral part of Bentonville's health-conscious and active community.
  • Rapid expansion: Encouraged by growing consumer demand for healthy and convenient food options, CRISP & GREEN is planning five locations across Arkansas and is on track to double its presence, with locations in 15 states in 2023.

Razorbacks Clinch Sweet 16 Bid with Victory Over 1 Seed Kansas

The Arkansas Razorbacks advanced to the program’s 14th Sweet 16 with a win over Kansas on Saturday, despite being down 12 points in the second half. Devo Davis was instrumental in the comeback, scoring 25 points, and Ricky Council IV sealed the victory with his last five points from the line.

  • No. 1 seed? No problem: This is the third year in a row Arkansas has faced a top-seeded team, bringing their record to 2-1 in these matchups in that timeframe. In the 2022 Sweet 16, the Razorbacks upset Gonzaga and cut Kansas' dance short in the second round of the 2021 tourney.
  • 6th man: Jordan Walsh came off the bench and went for 10 points and three rebounds. Kamani Johnson also had 10 boards and a putback late.
