Join Downtown Bentonville for the Lighting of the Square this Saturday, Nov 19 at 6p, as the city kicks off the holiday season.

  • Going the distance: Bentonville Parks & Recreation has strung up over 35 miles of string lights to turn the square into a twinkling, winter wonderland. 
  • Light power: It takes approximately 3,000 man-hours to string lights across the square each year.

StitchCrew and FemHealth Founders are seeking early-stage, women-owned companies to participate in the FemHealth Accelerator program. 

  • Her health: The accelerator is designed for women-led startups developing solutions to improve women’s health outcomes across a number of female-specific conditions.
  • Stronger together: Participants will receive a non-dilutive grant of $10,000, and gain access to industry executives, venture capitalists, and other thought leaders in the women’s health space.

Tyson Foods Reports Record Earnings After Latest Quarter

Despite Tyson’s fourth-quarter net-income dropping nearly 60%, the meat industry leader ended its fiscal year with a record setting revenue of $53.28b. 

  • Growth: Tyson Foods’ net income for the fiscal year grew to $3.249b, up 6.26% year over year, and the company reduced its debt by nearly $1b. 
  • Credit: CEO Donnie King attributed the growth to improvements in the chicken segment and a historically strong performance from their beef segment.

The Missouri Prairie Foundation has awarded Compton Gardens and Arboretum with a Grow Native! Native Gardens of Excellence Award.
