Gulley Park Summer Concert Series Schedule Announced

Get ready to clear your Thursday evenings, because some sweet summertime magic is returning to Fayetteville’s historic Gulley Park, and you'll not want to miss out!

  • Tunes in the air: The 26th annual Gulley Park Summer Concert Series is on June 9th with concerts every Thursday evening until July 14th. Shows start at 7p around the Gulley Park Gazebo. There will be a local food truck rally each Thursday for those attending the concert, so come with an empty stomach.
  • The lineup is: Bring your family, furry friends, and lawn chairs to listen to Route 358, Blue Water Highway, King Cabbage Brass, Funk Factory, Pert Near Sandstone, and Brennen Leigh this summer!

Razorback Greenway Alliance Announces Plans For Improvements

The Razorback Greenway Alliance recently announced some of what’s coming in 2022 for the Razorback Greenway in Northwest Arkansas. 

  • New and improved: In addition to commissioning a fully updated brand identity, the Razorback Greenway Alliance will be expanding the mileage of the Greenway and work on improving its maintenance, facilities, and operational infrastructure. 
  • Miles: The Razorback Greenway currently spans 40 miles through the heart of NWA, beginning at “mile 0” at Kessler Mountain Regional Park in Fayetteville and ending at “mile 40” at Mercy Way Bridge in Bella Vista.

Fifth Street Maker's Market This Saturday, Biggest Yet

The Fifth Street Maker’s Market is returning bigger than ever before. 

  • Makers' madness: The market is this Saturday, April 30, and is brought to you by Fifth Street Studio in collaboration with Airship Coffee and CACHE. There will be 85+ vendors at the market and plenty of food and drinks to go around along with music and other fun surprises.
  • Walk on up: A short bike ride from the Farmer’s Market in downtown Bentonville, the market will be outside on the Airship Coffee and CACHE lawns. If parking seems tricky, not to worry! Pedal It Forward will be offering a full bike valet service for market-goers, and Airship will have its “Leave The Keys” discount for anyone who bikes or walks to the venue.

Northwest Arkansas Food Systems Is Expanding Through Grants

Through new partnerships, Northwest Arkansas Food Systems is expanding support for local farmers and communities. 

  • Growth through resources: The expansion involves $730,000 in grants going toward the Arkansas Department of Agriculture, Community Clinic, and the University of Arkansas so they can “offer farmers new resources to access capital and soil health programs, and improve access to healthy food in under-resourced communities.”
  • The program: The Northwest Arkansas Food Systems focuses on bolstering small and mid-size farmers to grow fresh produce for the community. The program connects farmers to educational opportunities, land, technical assistance, capital, and new markets.
