The Walmart OZ Mile Swim is for ALL swimmers! Elite, experienced, novice, beginner - ALL! We have an ELITE wave, a YOUTH wave, an AGE GROUP wave, a PARA wave, and the OZ wave (wetsuits or safety buoys or even fins). Swimmers will have the option to complete 1 wave or multiple waves if they would like to increase their mileage. 

This event will be a FESTIVAL ATMOSPHERE unlike any other Open Water Race in the region - maybe the USA! There is something for everyone! 

We have collaborated with the World's largest Open Water Swim, the MIDMAR MILE. Our winners receive a trip to South Africa to compete in the 2024 event!

We will kick off race weekend on Friday afternoon, September 22nd with a Race Expo Presented by Century 21's Heartfelt Homes, at Red Barn in Bentonville. A meet and greet with all our swimmers, and elites. As well as local and national vendors. The Expo is free to attend, with adult beverages provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon.

This swim is set in the heart of the Ozarks, which offer fun adventures for the entire family! The festival like atmosphere is spectacular for swimmers and their families! There is a pre-swim offered on Saturday to stretch out from your travels so you are ready to go for Sunday. There is also an opportunity to learn from one of the best open water swimmers in the world, TWO time OLYMPIAN Michelle Weber, during her clinic. FREE to attend, courtesy of Pabst Blue Ribbon. We will have awards for the top 3 finishes in age groups for male and female, and Youth Team and Adult Masters Team awards.
