AcreTrader - Customer Success Manager

AcreTrader is looking to hire a Customer Success Manager based in Fayetteville, AR to join the Acres team. This is an exciting opportunity to help scale the launch of our new geospatial mapping product within the AcreTrader business suite.As the leader of the Acres Customer Success team, you will be the forward-facing ambassador for the Acres product. You will not only be a vocal advocate for our users in order to create an enriching customer experience, but you will be the relationship builder and nurturer of our growing enterprise-level customer base. 

Initially, your primary responsibilities in this role will be to build scalable processes and procedures that will support an expansion of an outstanding CS team. From there you will help us to define, evolve, and execute internal and external support strategies to drive ongoing customer satisfaction as we grow quickly and intentionally. 

The CS Manager will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we are prioritizing our work in a way that accelerates the improvement of our product and empowers our users. The candidate should have a keen interest in the industry and be passionate about customer service. The person in this role will be an excellent communicator, both in writing and speaking. The success of this role will be measured by the execution of overall client satisfaction, business planning growth, and retention.

This role will be working within a startup environment that requires flexibility and nimbleness. As at any growing company, you can expect many other tasks and responsibilities to be assigned, as well as growth opportunities to be seized.

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Onboard and train additional customer success team members
  • Establish workflows and the metrics required to measure and improve overall customer satisfaction and retention
  • Be a product expert and educate customers on the product in a way that instills confidence and encourages adoption
  • Collaborate across functional teams – to optimize efficiency and resolution of user’s requests and other needs
  • Collect feedback from external users and share product blind spots with the Acres team in order to improve the product
  • Identify and act to remove obstacles to deliver consistently high levels of service
  • Develop a plan and manage enterprise account users to provide excellent customer service
  • Stay current on the latest industry trends and techniques by maintaining constant curiosity and a desire to learn

Key Competencies/Requirements: 

  • 2-3 years of experience in customer service and engagement role
  • 1-3 years experience in a process improvement role
  • Experience in Hubspot or CRM
  • Experience managing and coordinating highly functioning teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a startup environment
  • Ability to think strategically and implement tactics that align with prescribed strategies 
  • Ability to handle multiple requests through efficient communication
  • High attention to detail & organization
