Camp Underbite is a doggy daycare and boarding facility located in Highfill, Arkansas, 1.5 miles from XNA Airport. We are seeking a Camp Counselor to assist in the care of dogs staying at our facility. 

Skills/Aptitudes:

• Must have a track record of dependability
• Must love animals
• Must be comfortable with physical activity and spending large portions of the day outside, on their feet, in all seasons.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds on a regular basis (bags of food, dogs). 
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Duties: 

Yes, you will play with dogs, but this job requires much more. Providing and maintaining a safe environment for our campers and staff is the overall priority. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, bathing and drying dogs, feeding and watering the dogs, cleaning the facility and grounds, focusing on dogs’ body language, remembering dogs’ names, providing customer service as needed, taking photos and videos, and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned. Training will be provided, but candidate must show aptitude in recognizing animal behaviors and taking steps to ensure safety. 

Schedule:

Weekends and holidays are our peak times, so availability during these times is essential. This job will start as part time, but there is full time potential. Candidate must be dependable and have transportation to and from work, as to be punctual for scheduled shifts.
