About The Role

The Marketing Manager is responsible for owning the local, regional and national marketing portfolio within the Ropeswing Hospitality Group. The Marketing Manager will be the Brand Ambassador for Ropeswing Hospitality Group and will require a thorough understanding of business and marketing strategy. It also requires the ability to project manage, multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities will include overseeing and developing marketing campaigns; conducting research and analyzing data to identify and define audiences; devising and presenting ideas and market/sales strategies; promotional activities/social content; compiling and distributing financial and statistical information; writing and proofreading creative copy.

This is a salaried, exempt position and reports directly to the VP of Bars and Restaurants.

Salary Is Commensurate With Experience.

Essential Functions & Duties

  • Provide monthly reporting of social and restaurant event + programming analytics to better understand guest needs, team actions and development of insight-based marketing plans. Share relevant insights and planning across ecosystem.
  • Schedule, organize, and maintain creative content; direct/manage socials to create and post engaging content across social media platforms for operations.
  • Research and analyze marketing trends and identify target markets.
  • Lead and facilitate brand definition, articulation, and continued evolution of the brand platform.
  • Oversee customer experience measurement and insight.
  • Ensures brand guidelines are adhered to in all media outlets and mediums.
  • Create new opportunities in each of the operations to stand out, including culinary opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Identify events & programming calendars that generates revenue and enhances guest experience for operational units; conduct outreach and marketing against those events.
  • Coordinates and manages the execution of marketing tactics. Tactics may include, but are not limited to newsletters, styled photo shoots, influencer programs, digital marketing campaigns, print publication, ad coordination, and merchandise creation and promotion.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver brand assets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications team in ecosystem to elevate RSHG properties and cross promote with internal businesses/brands when appropriate
  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of marketing projects and tasks.
  • Coordinate and manage creative design services for development and collateral production using internal and external sources.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or another related field, preferred but not required.
  • 4+ years of Marketing experience, preferably in the Hospitality and Restaurant Industry, preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to cross-collaborate with different stakeholders,
  • Excellent project management skills,
  • Ability to juggle competing deadlines while remaining flexible and goal/detail oriented,
  • Knowledge of current and upcoming marketing trends and multimedia platforms,
  • Subject matter expert in all relevant social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, SurveyMonkey, etc.)
