On Friday, the City of Fayetteville announced that a 38-acre land donation will go towards the establishment of a new park. -KNWA/Fox 24

• Craig and Laura Underwood generously donated land west of Dean Solomon Road in Fayetteville. The park is scheduled to open to the public in Spring 2021.
• The Fayetteville City Council voted to approve the naming of the park in honor of the Underwoods’ donation on Oct. 6 2020.
• According to the city, the park will eliminate the existing park service gap in the northwest area of Fayetteville. -KNWA/Fox 24
