Arkansas General Assembly Begins Session

The 93rd Arkansas General Assembly officially began on Monday, Jan. 11.

  • In Arkansas, the General Assembly consists of a State Senate with 35 members and a State House with 100 members. Republicans remain in the majority in both chambers.
  • As with everything, the State Capitol is adapting to new changes. Plexiglass has been installed in the Senate and House chambers. Committee rooms have been wired for virtual meetings. -4029 News
