Battle of Fayetteville Observance Returns

The in-person observance of the Battle of Fayetteville has returned and will take place this Saturday, April 16. 

  • To start: It will take place on the grounds of Headquarters House Museum at 118 E. Dickson Street in Fayetteville, and Mayor Lionald Jordan will fire a cannon at 10a and read a proclamation to start the day-long battle observance.
  • Events: After the opening ceremonies with the mayor, there will be activities and events until 4p. Some of the activities include a history lecture, a historic dance group, musket and artillery demonstrations, a brass band concert, and more.
