Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, celebrations will begin with the building of the ofrenda at Shiloh Square in Downtown Springdale this Sunday, Oct 30 from 12-5p . 

• History buffs: Día de Muertos is an ancient Mexican and Mexican American religious holiday integrating pre-Columbian and Catholic customs in the remembrance of deceased ancestors.
• Join the fiesta: The final Día de Muertos celebration will take place Saturday, Nov 5 from 12-7p at Shiloh Square and Turnbow Park including art, music, food, and dancing .
