The City of Fayetteville has a few ideas for how to go about improving the walkability in the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd area in south Fayetteville, and it wants public input.

  • Better streets: The area between Walker Park and Archibald Yell Blvd. is considered to be the “priority zone.” The concept designs proposed include new sidewalks, crosswalk safety improvements, traffic calming, vegetation clearing, and curb ramps.
  • People’s opinion: There are 5 walkability improvement proposals complete with a map and photos that locals are encouraged to review and provide feedback. Input is being gathered by a 5-10 minute questionnaire
