In an effort to keep Northwest Arkansas spick and span, the second annual Pick Up Where you Play event has officially begun. The cleanup series started August 28 at Scull Creek in Fayetteville and will continue through the end of October in participating cities. 

• Keep Arkansas Beautiful: There will be specific clean up days around NWA, but starting Sept. 1 in Rogers there will be green supply boxes with instructions, bags and gloves in 8 locations around the city to use for community cleanup whenever you want. 
• You could win: Participants can enter to win a guided striper fishing expedition for two on Beaver Lake. Though you win regardless, because you helped clean up Arkansas.
