Climbing the Ladder

NWA Daily

The U.S. News & World Report's Best Places to Live ranking is out, and NWA made the list again. Fayetteville is continuing its six year streak of top ten appearances with a No. 4 spot this year.

  • The best parts: Each year, cities around the country are ranked based on several specific metrics. With "incredible job opportunities, low cost of living and world-class quality of life amenities," NWA consistently outdoes the competition in one way or another.
  • Notable stats: This ranking places Fayetteville at the head of the pack in the SEC, which the U of A was very proud of. Our highest scoring metric continues to be value, followed closely by net migration.
