A campaign committee has formed in Benton County with the mission of keeping more tax revenue local by allowing stores in Bentonville and Rogers to sell alcohol on Sundays.

• Money lost: The ballot question committee is named Keep Our Dollars Local. The committee says thousands of dollars in tax revenue is going to communities outside of Bentonville and Rogers when shoppers have to leave town to buy their beer or wine on Sundays. 
• In one place: Keep Our Dollars Local believes that shoppers also spend money on things like gas and groceries when they make their alcohol run, which displaces even more revenue that could be made in Bentonville or Rogers. The committee will be gathering signatures to put on the November general election ballot.
