Downtown Springdale Features Works From Barn Quilt Project

Arts One Presents

More public art is decorating Downtown Springdale with the unveiling of Arts One Presents' Springdale Barn Quilt Project, representing the various cultural traditions and visual styles of Springdale's intersecting communities.

  • Bundled up: Each Barn Quilt represents and celebrates aspects of their designer's respective craft and unique cultural traditions and practices around the historical practice of quilt design. The projects have been submitted to the Arkansas Quilt Trail,
  • On display: The three projects are displayed on the barn at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History, the side of the former First Security Bank building facing Shiloh Square, and the corner of Emma and Holcomb streets. In conjunction with the Barn Quilts, works by other artists are on display as part of the Shiloh Museum's Ozark Home, Beyond the Frame exhibition.
