Downtown Bentonville Inc. featured Bentonville resident Chris Thompson on DWNT Now about his recovery from addiction and how he went on to create Sober Sidekick App, an app designed to help recovering addicts. 

• Empathy empowers: The app provides a tool to track sobriety, daily motivations, 24/7 access to virtual AA meetings, and chat rooms with others on the road to recovery. 
• Everyone profits: In the interview, Thompson described the founders’ dedication to only earn profit from partners that benefit from addicts’ continued sobriety rather than their continued relapse.
