Now in its 37th edition, US News and World Report released its 2022 Best College Rankings.

• Rankings: The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville landed at No. 162 overall in the National Universities Ranking and No. 78 in Top Public Schools. John Brown University located in Siloam Springs came in at No. 10 for Best Regional Universities of the South.
• Metrics used: Placements are determined by using 17 metrics, with the most weight on retention, graduation rates, class size, and reputation.
