Two organizations that independently work to better people's lives are taking a significant step together in addressing the specialty care needs of the region. 

• Partnership: The Alice L. Walton Foundation and the Cleveland Clinic, the no. 2 hospital in the nation, created a joint initiative to improve specialty health care in Northwest Arkansas. 
• Development: They plan to assess specialty care needs in the region and create a system where health and wellness are available to everyone. As Northwest Arkansas grows, the goal is to have “increased access to excellent and innovative care.”
