In efforts to save money, improve air quality, and provide a raise to teachers, the Farmington School District will be going solar.

  • $300,000: The school board provided its stamp of approval for the energy update earlier this week. The district is expected to save about $300k per year with the improvements, which will provide extra funds for raises and bonuses.
  • Quote: "We have great teachers in all of our buildings ... So, what we want to do is take care of those teachers and keep them here” - Farmington Superintendent.
