Fayetteville’s City Council voted to approve the development of a 7-story hotel in Downtown Fayetteville. 

• Checking in: As part of the ongoing renovation of the Cultural Arts Corridor in Downtown Fayetteville, the hotel will sit across from Walton Arts Center in the designated civic plaza. 
• Valet: During the approval process, concerns were raised about the hotel’s potential impact on downtown parking, while others were optimistic about the economic wins for local businesses that could be gained by another hotel.
